ABSTRACT: Enhancing vocational education for careers in space exploration is crucial for preparing students to meet the demands of the burgeoning space industry. This study aimed to identify effective training methods for space exploration careers, assess their impact on student skills, and evaluate overall student satisfaction with the educational programs. A survey design was selected to gather extensive data from participants involved in space exploration vocational training. The sample size included 150 students from various technical institutions. Purposive sampling ensured that participants had relevant experience with space exploration education. The case study was conducted at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that specialized training methods, such as simulation-based learning, project-based tasks, and collaborations with space industry experts, significantly improved students' technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Students reported high levels of satisfaction with the curriculum, noting the relevance and applicability to real-world space exploration challenges. It was recommended that vocational training institutions continuously integrate cutting-edge space technologies and foster partnerships with the space industry to keep pace with advancements in the field.
